Around this time last year we were pet sitters for Dave a gorgeous cavoodle. Dave liked us a lot so he asked his Mum and Dad if we could come back again this year. Of course we were very happy to keep him company again! He’s been sleeping on the bed at night time cuddled up to his owners. However, now they’re on holidays he’s happy to sleep in his own bed so long as he can see John.
John’s gone to stay with Dave for a week while I finish our other house sit with little Ruby. Dave has been following John everywhere, all over the house and garden. He’s a very sweet dog and loves human company and going for walks and fetching the ball.
Dave would love us to throw the ball all day
Here he is asking for John to throw the ball again, even though he just threw it 50 times:-) Dave was the first cavoodle we looked after, but since then we’ve cared for three others. They each had a distinctive personality. All are highly intelligent, very loving and can’t do without their humans. The youngest one we cared for was a lot more independent than the others but perhaps it was because her Mum worked all day and didn’t spend the same amount of time with her. One of the best characteristics of “oodles” is their lovely soft hair which doesn’t shed. They’re great pets for people with allergies or people who don’t like cleaning up dog hair all the time.
You’re welcome to check out the review from the owners where we pet sat last year.
John and Julieanne have house and pet sits booked until the end of 2024 but still have vacancies at the beginning of 2025. If your pets would like us to care for them next year, please contact us here
