Recently, we completed a four month house garden and pet sit in Port Adelaide. We were so sorry to leave – packing the car wasn’t fun and leaving our faourite cat was sad. She was a real sweetheart – one of those cats who “talked” a lot. When she talked, she wasn’t just asking for food – she would say hello if you found her hiding under a bush during the day or if you walked into the room while she was sleeping.
It was lovely to stay in one lovely home all that time, and get used to where everything was kept. The garden was very pretty too and John took out all the petunias when they’d finished at the end of summer, then planted some new flowers in their place.
We are booked up for the rest of the year and until January 22nd 2025. Then, we’re hoping to get a long house sit from January to end of March 2025. After that, we’ll be moving into our own new house.
